Estepona is about the same distance heading west and its Old Town is always worth a visit - check out the Botanical Gardens in Estepona.
To visit Puerto Banus and its famous Marina is about 15 mins drive, from there if you wish you can walk to Marbella along the paseo or take the Ferry - a very enjoyable experience.
Distances to Malaga Airport is about 50 mins and Gibraltar about 45 mins - but remember at Gib you have to cross the Border.
Both places are worth a visit - Malaga with its many historical buildings and Gibraltar where you can enter into the Rock itself where many Musical concerts are held - and for those who may not realise The Royal Engineers were responsible for the work in these fascinating tunnels.
