Arrive, unpack your luggage and be at home. This fully equipped flat for 1-2 persons is located on the 2nd floor of a romantic half-timbered house in the centre of Friedrichsdorf im Taunus. Where you live... The Huguenot town of Friedrichsdorf is situated close to the metropolis Frankfurt/Main as well as to the nature of the Taunus Mountains. Excellent infrastructure and recreational possibilities are combined in this lovely small town. The motorways A5 and A661 are only a few minutes' drive away. If you have a car, a separate parking space can be provided only a short walk away. But even without a car you are in good hands here. The railway station with suburban and regional train connections to Frankfurt/Main (approx. 30 min. to the city centre), Bad Homburg, Friedberg and the Hintertaunus region can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Everything you need for everyday life is also "right on your doorstep": Within walking distance (1-10 minutes) are supermarkets/discounters, the TaunusCaree shopping centre, the "Hugenottenstraße" shopping street, bakers, butchers, weekly market (Wednesday/Saturday), cafés, restaurants; hairdressers, dry cleaners, copy shop, fitness centre, doctors, banks, churches.... in summer you can also find refreshment in the open-air swimming pool. How you live... The flat was completely renovated and lovingly furnished in 2020. There are two other rented units in the house. On the same property in a separate part of the building there are two further residential units (landlord). In the romantic inner courtyard, a seating area is available for communal use by all residents during the summer months. When you enter the flat, you first come to the hallway with wardrobe area and storage space for shoes, bags, etc. From here you go directly to the bright, fully equipped kitchen with dining area. Here you will find a 4-burner induction hob, oven, dishwasher and a spacious fridge-freezer combination. If you are in a hurry, the microwave is ready for action. Coffee/tea and toast for breakfast or would you prefer a smoothie? There are devices for that, too. Next to the kitchen is the daylight-filled bathroom with shower and toilet. Wifi is also available in all areas of the flat. At the other end of the corridor you reach the bedroom with a comfortable double bed (140 cm wide) with bedside table and wardrobe. Bed linen is included. The storage room around the corner offers storage space, e.g. for your suitcases or anything else that is rarely used or should be stored out of sight. Hier vereinen sich hervorragende Infrastruktur und Erholungscharakter. Zu den Autobahnen A5 und A661 sind es nur wenige Fahrminuten.
