Charming two-storey apartment with mansard bedroom, lovingly furnished with parquet floors, all kinds of pictures and partly antique furniture. The lower floor is located on the second floor and is accessible by an external staircase, downstairs is the living room, kitchen and a second toilet. Through an interior staircase you can then go up to the bedroom and bathroom/shower. Places in the near are: Landshut, Dingolfing, Ohu, Straubing, Landau. The stairs to the attic bedroom are relatively steep and thus not suitable for everyone! Essenbach is a nice starting point to explore the nearby Laabertal, to visit the monastery Mallersdorf, or to make a side trip to the Bavarian Forest or to Munich. The Lower Bavarian metropolises of Straubing, Deggendorf, Passau and Regensburg in the Upper Palatinate are all within an hour's drive. Not to forget: the main attraction: the picturesque medieval capital of Lower Bavaria, namely Landshut: this wonderful spot literally invites you to stroll along the banks of the Isar, to individual shopping in the many, small stores and boutiques. Various fine restaurants (e.g. the Rauchensteiner on the Mühleninsel) and wine bars (e.g. Paolo's Weinbar in the Old Town) are super nice spots for dining and socializing....the Old Town, Trausnitz Castle with a great bar and magnificent view, St. Martin's Church (highest brick tower in the world!), Residenz, Herkules Hall, Salzstadel, etc. There is definitely a lot to see in the gothic city!

Charmante, zweistöckige Wohnung mit Mansarden-Schlafzimmer, liebevoll eingerichtet mit Parkettboden, allerlei Bildern und teils antiken Möbeln. Das untere Stockwerk befindet sich im ersten Stock und ist durch eine Außentreppe zugänglich, im unteren Stockwerk befinden sich Wohnzimmer, Küche und ein zweites WC. Durch eine Innentreppe geht es dann rauf zu Schlafzimmer und Bad/Dusche. In der Nähe liegen: Landshut, Dingolfing, Ohu, Straubing, Landau Die Treppe ins Mansarden-Schlafzimmer ist relativ steil und damit nicht für jedermann geeignet! Essenbach ist eine schöne Ausgangsposition, um das naheliegende Laabertal zu erkunden, das Kloster Mallersdorf zu besuchen, oder einen Abstecher in den Bayerischen Wald oder nach München zu tätigen. Die niederbayerischen Metropolen Straubing, Deggendorf, Passau und Regensburg in der Oberpfalz sind alle innerhalb einer Fahrstunde zu erreichen. Nicht zu vergessen: die Hauptattraktion: die malerisch-mittelalterliche Hauptstadt Niederbayerns, nämlich Landshut: dieses wunderbare Fleckchen Erde lädt förmlich ein zum Flanieren an den Isarufern, zum individuellen Shopping in der vielen, kleinen Shops und Boutiquen. Diverse feine Lokale (z.B. das Rauchensteiner auf der Mühleninsel) und Weinbars (z.B. Paolo´s Weinbar in der Altstadt) sind supernette Spots zum Speisen und geselligen Süffeln....die Altstadt, die Burg Trausnitz mit toller Bar und herrlichem Ausblick, die Martinskirche (höchster Backstein-Turm der Welt!), Residenz, Herkules-Saal, Salzstadel, etc. Es gibt definitv viel zu sehen in der gotischen Stadt!
