Das gesamte Haus wurde 2017 entkernt, fast alle Fußböden und Wände sind Neubauten mit einer völlig neuen Küche, einem neuen Hauptbadezimmer, Badezimmern, einem neuen Teppich und einem Etagenzimmer, das dem Keller hinzugefügt wurde. Der Holzofen im Keller heizt das Haus wunderbar und der Schornstein wurde 2024 gereinigt. Die Pfahlscheune wurde 2017 von den Amish gebaut. Das vordere NW 24 Acres Feld ist derzeit mit Heu bepflanzt. Die Familie des Nachbarn auf der anderen Straßenseite im Norden schneidet und verkauft das Heu, das ein Jahreseinkommen von etwa 1.600 bis 2.500 Dollar einbringt. Die Beach Road (früher eine verlassene County Road) ist die einzige Zufahrt für die Grundstücksbesitzer des Beaver Creek Bow Club im Süden. Im Sommer 2024 wurde die Beach Road unter anderem mit einem neuen Durchlass ausgebaut und verstärkt. Ich habe in gutem Glauben und um gute Beziehungen zu den Nachbarn zu pflegen, 1.000 Dollar für das Projekt gespendet, da ich die Straße häufig benutze, um meine Farm von Osten her zu erreichen. Die benachbarten Bauernhöfe auf der anderen Straßenseite im Norden sowie im Osten und Süden sind allesamt großartige Nachbarn, die sich darauf freuen, den neuen Besitzer kennenzulernen und mit ihm zusammenzuarbeiten. Ich werde mich um die Vorstellung des neuen Besitzers kümmern, um diese wichtige Beziehung fortzusetzen. Das Hotel liegt 20 Meilen vom Lake Michigan und den Silver Lake Sand Dunes entfernt. Hesperia ist 11 Meilen entfernt und bietet lokale Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Der White River für saisonales Forellen-, Steelhead- und Lachsangeln befindet sich in der Gegend. Der weltbekannte Pere Marquette River zum Angeln mit Driftbooten und zum Waten auf Brown, Steelhead und Lachs ist 19 Meilen entfernt. Newaygo ist die Heimat des Big Muskegon River, der nur 32 Meilen entfernt ist und außergewöhnliche Boots- und Angelmöglichkeiten bietet. Fremont ist 20 Meilen entfernt und bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und medizinische Einrichtungen. Ein Dollar General befindet sich 3 Meilen entfernt in Walkerville, wo Sie bequem einkaufen können. Die Stadt Grand Rapids ist nur 57 Meilen entfernt.
