Ver más Ver menos Cette ancienne seigneurie, érigée sur une motte féodale, a été la propriété de la famille des Grossolles du XIVème au XIXème siècle, comme en attestent les armoiries qui ornent le haut portail de ferronnerie. Tout d'abord château médiéval, la bâtisse fut en partie démolie puis reconstruite au XVIIIème siècle, au dessus de l'ancien château et dans une version moins guerrière et plus élégante. Une ancienne fenêtre à meneaux est encore visible dans l'une des caves, témoignage de l'ancien château médiéval.
Le château actuel se remarque par la qualité de son bâti, ses jardins joliment arborés, sa position dominante et sa vue panoramique sur la campagne et les vallons de la Lomagne gersoise, face aux Pyrénées. La distribution intérieure du château a la simplicité d'une chartreuse, à la fois sobre et élégante. Des éléments, anciens mais bien préservés, empruntent des styles Louis XV, comme le chantournement des boiseries et des cheminées, et Louis XVI avec le large escalier intérieur en pierre et sa rampe de ferronnerie. Les pièces sont spacieuses et baignées de lumière grâce aux larges et hautes fenêtres en bois.
